# Flashlight™ (Lite) vs 荧光棒

The clearest difference is rating: Flashlight™ (Lite) at 3.9 against 荧光棒's 3.3. Flashlight™ (Lite) also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (2K vs 10). 荧光棒's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 荧光棒 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Flashlight™ (Lite) asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flashlight™ (Lite) holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashlight™ (Lite) has 2K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Flashlight™ (Lite)'s written reviews are positive against 33% of 荧光棒's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flashlight™ (Lite) ships an update every 10 months, 荧光棒 every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
