# Flashlight™ (Lite) vs iLed Flashlight

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iLed Flashlight at 94% against Flashlight™ (Lite)'s 27%. iLed Flashlight also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 10 months). Flashlight™ (Lite)'s advantage is rating (3.9 vs 3.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iLed Flashlight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Flashlight™ (Lite) asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flashlight™ (Lite) holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashlight™ (Lite) has 2K ratings behind it against 71, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Flashlight™ (Lite)'s written reviews are positive against 94% of iLed Flashlight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flashlight™ (Lite) ships an update every 10 months, iLed Flashlight every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
