# Flashlight™ (Lite) vs screen

The clearest difference is rating: Flashlight™ (Lite) at 3.9 against screen's 2.4. Flashlight™ (Lite) also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 195). screen's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flashlight™ (Lite) holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashlight™ (Lite) has 2K ratings behind it against 195, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Flashlight™ (Lite)'s written reviews are positive against 48% of screen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
