# FencingRef vs Fencing Manager

The clearest difference is price: FencingRef at $1.99 against Fencing Manager's $9.99. FencingRef also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (80% vs 50%). Fencing Manager's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

FencingRef costs $1.99 and Fencing Manager $9.99 up front. Fencing Manager sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. FencingRef asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fencing Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 4 respectively.
