# all vs Notepad

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: all at none against Notepad's 1. all also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (193 vs 3). Notepad's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. all asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notepad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: all has 193 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of all's written reviews are positive against 54% of Notepad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

all ships an update every 6 weeks, Notepad every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
