# MyTalkTools Mobile vs Flexspeak AAC

The clearest difference is rating: MyTalkTools Mobile at 5.0 against Flexspeak AAC's 4.2. MyTalkTools Mobile also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Flexspeak AAC's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyTalkTools Mobile sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Flexspeak AAC sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyTalkTools Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of MyTalkTools Mobile's written reviews are positive against 100% of Flexspeak AAC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MyTalkTools Mobile ships an update every 6 weeks, Flexspeak AAC weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
