# Official Comic vs Studios Tour

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Studios Tour at 100% against Official Comic's 18%. Studios Tour also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.1) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Official Comic's advantage is ratings volume (459 vs 9) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 9 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Studios Tour holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Official Comic has 459 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of Official Comic's written reviews are positive against 100% of Studios Tour's.

Official Comic ships an update every 3 months, Studios Tour every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
