# Official Comic vs Happe App

The clearest difference is rating: Happe App at 5.0 against Official Comic's 3.1. Happe App also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Official Comic's advantage is update cadence (every 3 months vs every 25 months) and ratings volume (459 vs 2). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Happe App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Official Comic has 459 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Official Comic ships an update every 3 months, Happe App every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
