# Official Comic vs BookCon

The clearest difference is ads: Official Comic at none against BookCon's shown. Official Comic also leads on rating (3.1 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (459 vs 101). BookCon's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (30% vs 18%). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Official Comic holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 459 and 101 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of Official Comic's written reviews are positive against 30% of BookCon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
