# BarzLoaded vs Card Ladder

The clearest difference is price: Card Ladder at Free against BarzLoaded's $1.99. Card Ladder also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). BarzLoaded's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (75% vs 51%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Card Ladder is free to download; BarzLoaded costs $1.99 up front. Card Ladder sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. BarzLoaded asks for nothing beyond the download.

Card Ladder holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Card Ladder has 12K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of BarzLoaded's written reviews are positive against 51% of Card Ladder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BarzLoaded ships an update every 4 months, Card Ladder every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
