# BarzLoaded vs Golf Genius

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BarzLoaded at 75% against Golf Genius's 26%. BarzLoaded also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). Golf Genius's advantage is price (Free vs $1.99) and rating (4.8 vs 4.3). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Golf Genius is free to download; BarzLoaded costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Golf Genius holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Golf Genius has 75K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of BarzLoaded's written reviews are positive against 26% of Golf Genius's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BarzLoaded ships an update every 4 months, Golf Genius every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
