# LastPass Password Manager vs aQuiRe App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: aQuiRe App at none against LastPass Password Manager's 1. aQuiRe App also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). LastPass Password Manager's advantage is ratings volume (57K vs 17) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LastPass Password Manager sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $35.99 per year. aQuiRe App asks for nothing beyond the download.

LastPass Password Manager holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LastPass Password Manager has 57K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of LastPass Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 67% of aQuiRe App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LastPass Password Manager ships an update fortnightly, aQuiRe App every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 19, 2026.
