# WREG vs WPSD Local 6

The clearest difference is rating: WREG at 4.7 against WPSD Local 6's 2.8. WREG also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 86) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). WPSD Local 6's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WREG holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WREG has 1.4K ratings behind it against 86, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of WREG's written reviews are positive against 49% of WPSD Local 6's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WREG ships an update every 6 weeks, WPSD Local 6 every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
