# MVS Noticias vs Excélsior

The clearest difference is rating: MVS Noticias at 4.4 against Excélsior's 1.9. MVS Noticias also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Excélsior's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 25%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MVS Noticias holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 16 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of MVS Noticias's written reviews are positive against 64% of Excélsior's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MVS Noticias ships an update every 3 weeks, Excélsior every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
