# GreetingNote vs 123Greetings

The clearest difference is price: 123Greetings at Free against GreetingNote's $0.99. 123Greetings also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.4) and ratings volume (102K vs 10). GreetingNote's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On device support there is nothing between them.

123Greetings is free to download; GreetingNote costs $0.99 up front. 123Greetings sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $11.99 per year. GreetingNote asks for nothing beyond the download.

123Greetings holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 123Greetings has 102K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of GreetingNote's written reviews are positive against 76% of 123Greetings's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GreetingNote ships an update every 2 months, 123Greetings fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
