# Christmas Countdown vs Happy Christmas Countdown

The clearest difference is ads: Christmas Countdown at none against Happy Christmas Countdown's shown. Christmas Countdown also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Happy Christmas Countdown's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Christmas Countdown sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year and Happy Christmas Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Christmas Countdown ships an update every 3 weeks, Happy Christmas Countdown every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
