# EasyTrails GPS Lite vs Global Mapper Mobile

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EasyTrails GPS Lite at 47% against Global Mapper Mobile's 29%. EasyTrails GPS Lite also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). Global Mapper Mobile's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.5). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EasyTrails GPS Lite sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per year and Global Mapper Mobile sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Global Mapper Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of EasyTrails GPS Lite's written reviews are positive against 29% of Global Mapper Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EasyTrails GPS Lite ships an update every 5 weeks, Global Mapper Mobile every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
