# Flashlight Pro [Multipurpose LED light] vs Epson iProjection

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flashlight Pro [Multipurpose LED light] at 67% against Epson iProjection's 20%. Flashlight Pro [Multipurpose LED light] also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). Epson iProjection's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 50). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Epson iProjection holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Epson iProjection has 3.4K ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Flashlight Pro [Multipurpose LED light]'s written reviews are positive against 20% of Epson iProjection's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flashlight Pro [Multipurpose LED light] ships an update every 3 weeks, Epson iProjection every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
