# Rocket Golf vs Nova Golf

The clearest difference is rating: Nova Golf at 3.6 against Rocket Golf's 2.7. Nova Golf also leads on ratings volume (31 vs 3) and price ($1.99 vs $2.99). Rocket Golf's advantage is review sentiment (87% vs 46%). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and chart position there is nothing between them.

Rocket Golf costs $2.99 and Nova Golf $1.99 up front. Rocket Golf sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Nova Golf sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nova Golf holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nova Golf has 31 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Rocket Golf's written reviews are positive against 46% of Nova Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rocket Golf ships an update every 5 months, Nova Golf every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
