# Runmeter Running GPS Tracker vs Climategames

The clearest difference is rating: Runmeter Running GPS Tracker at 4.7 against Climategames's 4.0. Runmeter Running GPS Tracker also leads on ratings volume (3.8K vs 8) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). Climategames's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (83% vs 73%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Runmeter Running GPS Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Climategames sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Runmeter Running GPS Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Runmeter Running GPS Tracker has 3.8K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Runmeter Running GPS Tracker's written reviews are positive against 83% of Climategames's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Runmeter Running GPS Tracker ships an update every 11 days, Climategames every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
