# Story Tracker Lite vs Libreprose

The clearest difference is rating: Libreprose at 5.0 against Story Tracker Lite's 3.9. Libreprose also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). Story Tracker Lite's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Libreprose holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Story Tracker Lite has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Story Tracker Lite ships an update every 5 months, Libreprose every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
