# OxBlue Camera Viewer vs TrueLook

The clearest difference is rating: TrueLook at 5.0 against OxBlue Camera Viewer's 4.4. TrueLook also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). OxBlue Camera Viewer's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 40%) and ratings volume (72 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TrueLook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OxBlue Camera Viewer has 72 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of OxBlue Camera Viewer's written reviews are positive against 40% of TrueLook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OxBlue Camera Viewer ships an update every 3 months, TrueLook every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
