# Emoji vs Draw

The clearest difference is rating: Emoji at 3.3 against Draw's 2.2. Emoji also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 26%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Draw's advantage is iOS requirement (6.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emoji sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Draw sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Emoji holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Emoji has 25 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Emoji's written reviews are positive against 26% of Draw's.

Emoji ships an update every 3 weeks, Draw every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
