# DISH Anywhere vs Cartoon Network App

The clearest difference is rating: DISH Anywhere at 4.6 against Cartoon Network App's 3.9. DISH Anywhere also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (265K vs 23K). Cartoon Network App's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 36%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DISH Anywhere holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DISH Anywhere has 265K ratings behind it against 23K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of DISH Anywhere's written reviews are positive against 55% of Cartoon Network App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DISH Anywhere ships an update every 2 weeks, Cartoon Network App every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
