# Astrology Plus vs Star

The clearest difference is ads: Star at none against Astrology Plus's shown. Astrology Plus's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (6.6K vs 937). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astrology Plus sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Star sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Astrology Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astrology Plus has 6.6K ratings behind it against 937, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 58% of Astrology Plus's written reviews are positive against 52% of Star's.

Astrology Plus ships an update monthly, Star every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
