# Ballet Lite vs DANCELAB

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ballet Lite at none against DANCELAB's 10. Ballet Lite also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 54%). DANCELAB's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DANCELAB sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Ballet Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

DANCELAB holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 33 and 85 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Ballet Lite's written reviews are positive against 54% of DANCELAB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ballet Lite ships an update every 2 months, DANCELAB weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
