# Stud Find vs Voice Memos

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Stud Find at 54% against Voice Memos's 0%. Stud Find also leads on ratings volume (242 vs 25) and iOS requirement (8.4 vs 15.0). Voice Memos's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stud Find sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Voice Memos sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Voice Memos holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stud Find has 242 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Stud Find's written reviews are positive against 0% of Voice Memos's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stud Find ships an update every 2 months, Voice Memos fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
