# Айчиталка vs FBReader

The clearest difference is rating: Айчиталка at 5.0 against FBReader's 3.7. Айчиталка also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). FBReader's advantage is ratings volume (128 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Айчиталка sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and FBReader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Айчиталка holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FBReader has 128 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Айчиталка's written reviews are positive against 52% of FBReader's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
