# Romi Pro vs Advanced Mill

The clearest difference is monetization model: Romi Pro at free against Advanced Mill's paid. Romi Pro also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). Advanced Mill's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (49 vs 11). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Romi Pro costs $1.99 and Advanced Mill $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Advanced Mill holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 49 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Romi Pro's written reviews are positive against 47% of Advanced Mill's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Romi Pro ships an update every 4 months, Advanced Mill every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
