# Universe Splitter vs Leprecam

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Universe Splitter at 1.5K against Leprecam's 6. Universe Splitter also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and chart position (#69 vs unranked). Leprecam's advantage is price ($0.99 vs $1.99). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Universe Splitter costs $1.99 and Leprecam $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Universe Splitter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Universe Splitter has 1.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Universe Splitter's written reviews are positive against 78% of Leprecam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Universe Splitter ships an update every 17 months, Leprecam every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
