# Seattle Times Mobile vs Archinect

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Archinect at 83% against Seattle Times Mobile's 26%. Archinect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Seattle Times Mobile's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 10 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Seattle Times Mobile sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month. Archinect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Seattle Times Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Seattle Times Mobile has 26K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Seattle Times Mobile's written reviews are positive against 83% of Archinect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Seattle Times Mobile ships an update every 11 days, Archinect every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
