# Camera+ Legacy vs Pro Camera

The clearest difference is price: Pro Camera at Free against Camera+ Legacy's $4.99. Pro Camera also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). Camera+ Legacy's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#135 vs unranked). On review sentiment, ratings volume, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Pro Camera is free to download; Camera+ Legacy costs $4.99 up front. Camera+ Legacy sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Pro Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pro Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.3K and 4.3K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Camera+ Legacy's written reviews are positive against 59% of Pro Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
