# Camera+ Legacy vs Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor

The clearest difference is price: Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor at Free against Camera+ Legacy's $4.99. Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (12K vs 2.3K). Camera+ Legacy's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (62% vs 50%). On update cadence, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor is free to download; Camera+ Legacy costs $4.99 up front. Camera+ Legacy sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor has 12K ratings behind it against 2.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Camera+ Legacy's written reviews are positive against 50% of Camera+ I Pro Camera & Editor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
