# TornadoSpy vs Storm Tracker°

The clearest difference is price: Storm Tracker° at Free against TornadoSpy's $1.99. Storm Tracker° also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (82K vs 12). TornadoSpy's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (69% vs 46%). On update cadence, in-app purchases, monetization model and chart position there is nothing between them.

Storm Tracker° is free to download; TornadoSpy costs $1.99 up front. TornadoSpy sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Storm Tracker° sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Storm Tracker° holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Storm Tracker° has 82K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of TornadoSpy's written reviews are positive against 46% of Storm Tracker°'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
