# Tour Tempo vs Rypstick

The clearest difference is price: Rypstick at Free against Tour Tempo's $24.99. Rypstick also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 93). Tour Tempo's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 41%) and chart position (#4 vs unranked). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Rypstick is free to download; Tour Tempo costs $24.99 up front. Tour Tempo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year and Rypstick sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rypstick holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rypstick has 1.9K ratings behind it against 93, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Tour Tempo's written reviews are positive against 41% of Rypstick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tour Tempo ships an update every 3 weeks, Rypstick every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
