# FlashToPass vs Find the words

FlashToPass and Find the words both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of FlashToPass's written reviews are positive against 28% of Find the words's. FlashToPass also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (931 vs 10). Find the words's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlashToPass sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Find the words sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for FlashToPass against 4.5 for Find the words. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlashToPass has 931 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 67% of FlashToPass's written reviews are positive against 28% of Find the words's.

FlashToPass ships an update every 4 months, Find the words every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
