# Texas Tea vs Bad Match

The clearest difference is rating: Bad Match at 4.7 against Texas Tea's 3.5. Bad Match also leads on ratings volume (87 vs 10). Texas Tea's advantage is monetization model (free vs paid) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 19 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and chart position there is nothing between them.

Texas Tea costs $0.99 and Bad Match $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bad Match holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bad Match has 87 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Texas Tea's written reviews are positive against 56% of Bad Match's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Texas Tea ships an update every 5 months, Bad Match every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
