# SwingU Golf GPS by Golf Genius vs Linedancer

The clearest difference is rating: SwingU Golf GPS by Golf Genius at 4.7 against Linedancer's 4.0. SwingU Golf GPS by Golf Genius also leads on ratings volume (136K vs 3) and chart position (#45 vs unranked). Linedancer's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 63%) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SwingU Golf GPS by Golf Genius sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $13.99 per month. Linedancer asks for nothing beyond the download.

SwingU Golf GPS by Golf Genius holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SwingU Golf GPS by Golf Genius has 136K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of SwingU Golf GPS by Golf Genius's written reviews are positive against 100% of Linedancer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
