# Πάμε Cinema vs Alpha TV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Πάμε Cinema at none against Alpha TV's 5. Πάμε Cinema also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). Alpha TV's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alpha TV sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Πάμε Cinema asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alpha TV holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Πάμε Cinema's written reviews are positive against 83% of Alpha TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Πάμε Cinema ships an update every 5 months, Alpha TV fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
