# Spyglass vs Decimal Compass

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Decimal Compass at none against Spyglass's 4. Decimal Compass also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Spyglass's advantage is ratings volume (3.9K vs 1) and chart position (#148 vs unranked). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spyglass sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Decimal Compass asks for nothing beyond the download.

Decimal Compass holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spyglass has 3.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
