# EL COMERCIO+ vs RTVE Noticias

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: RTVE Noticias at none against EL COMERCIO+'s 2. RTVE Noticias also leads on ratings volume (62 vs 2) and rating (3.7 vs 3.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EL COMERCIO+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.95 per month. RTVE Noticias asks for nothing beyond the download.

RTVE Noticias holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RTVE Noticias has 62 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of EL COMERCIO+'s written reviews are positive against 23% of RTVE Noticias's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EL COMERCIO+ ships an update every 5 weeks, RTVE Noticias monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
