# ForeFlight Mobile EFB vs RunwayMap

The clearest difference is ratings volume: ForeFlight Mobile EFB at 3.3K against RunwayMap's 29. ForeFlight Mobile EFB also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and chart position (#12 vs unranked). RunwayMap's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ForeFlight Mobile EFB sells 14 one-off in-app purchases and RunwayMap sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for ForeFlight Mobile EFB against 4.3 for RunwayMap.
