# QuickReader vs Glance

The clearest difference is rating: Glance at 4.9 against QuickReader's 4.5. Glance also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). QuickReader's advantage is ratings volume (616 vs 8) and chart position (#125 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

QuickReader costs $4.99 and Glance $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Glance holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuickReader has 616 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of QuickReader's written reviews are positive against 100% of Glance's.

QuickReader ships an update monthly, Glance every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
