# QuickReader vs Stasis

The clearest difference is price: Stasis at Free against QuickReader's $4.99. Stasis also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and rating (4.9 vs 4.5). QuickReader's advantage is ratings volume (616 vs 60) and chart position (#116 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Stasis is free to download; QuickReader costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stasis holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuickReader has 616 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of QuickReader's written reviews are positive against 97% of Stasis's.

QuickReader ships an update monthly, Stasis every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
