The clearest difference is ads: Scanner Pro at none against Scan 2 PDF's shown. Scanner Pro also leads on ratings volume (337K vs 2) and chart position (#30 vs unranked). Scan 2 PDF's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scanner Pro sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Scan 2 PDF sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
