# Prepware Private Pilot vs Go Panthers!

The clearest difference is price: Go Panthers! at Free against Prepware Private Pilot's $9.99. Go Panthers! also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.9). Prepware Private Pilot's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 25%) and ratings volume (137 vs 8). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Go Panthers! is free to download; Prepware Private Pilot costs $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Go Panthers! holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prepware Private Pilot has 137 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Prepware Private Pilot's written reviews are positive against 25% of Go Panthers!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
