# iPolice vs 戏曲锣鼓

The clearest difference is ads: iPolice at none against 戏曲锣鼓's shown. iPolice also leads on ratings volume (61 vs 4). 戏曲锣鼓's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (67% vs 47%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iPolice sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and 戏曲锣鼓 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iPolice holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iPolice has 61 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of iPolice's written reviews are positive against 67% of 戏曲锣鼓's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iPolice ships an update monthly, 戏曲锣鼓 every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
