# @Thermometer vs Thermometer Weather

The clearest difference is review sentiment: @Thermometer at 75% against Thermometer Weather's 0%. @Thermometer also leads on ratings volume (224 vs 1) and chart position (#204 vs unranked). Thermometer Weather's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. @Thermometer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Thermometer Weather sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thermometer Weather holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: @Thermometer has 224 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of @Thermometer's written reviews are positive against 0% of Thermometer Weather's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
