# ScanBizCards vs Batch Mix

The clearest difference is price: Batch Mix at Free against ScanBizCards's $0.99. Batch Mix also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). ScanBizCards's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 27 months). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Batch Mix is free to download; ScanBizCards costs $0.99 up front. Batch Mix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. ScanBizCards asks for nothing beyond the download.

ScanBizCards holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ScanBizCards has 14K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of ScanBizCards's written reviews are positive against 100% of Batch Mix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ScanBizCards ships an update every 2 months, Batch Mix every 27 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
