# StepRace vs Simple Rally

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StepRace at none against Simple Rally's 1. StepRace also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). Simple Rally's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Rally sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. StepRace asks for nothing beyond the download.

StepRace ships an update every 3 days, Simple Rally every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
